BELT CONVEYOR IMPACT BARS AND ASSEMBLIES
The Impact Bar Assembly is constructed of a rigid tubular steel frame with remumble wings on each side. This a l l m for easy installation or bar replacements. The remumble ban have a slick UHMW wear surface with a thick impact absorbing rubber section, vulcanized to a metal insert. Each bar is secured to the frame by easy access T-bolts. Impact bar assemblies are available in both 20° and 35° styles for CEMA C, D, and E series applications.
Conventional impact idlers may support the belt across the width of the belt, but not along the length of the load zone. Bent idler stands and roll failure are common problems if the belt is not supported in the load area. Also, material impacting between the idlers will cause the belt to flex downward, allowing material to leak under your skirt seal.
The results of ignoring this condition are shortened idler life, increased cleanup cost, belt damage, and safety hazards.
Eliminates belt sagging and ensures optimum sealing with REMASKIRT skirting rubber. Integration profiles enable easy and quick mounting with T-Bolts. 40 Durometer Rubber / 1/2" or 1" Thick UHMW. |
