With platens arranged in a rectangular fashion the UniPress becomes ideally suited for finger splices or steel cable splices.
However the platens can be arranged in a 22 degree rhombic configuration maximizing the length for traditional step splices.
• Each component has been engineered to be as light and safe as possible. Its ability to be joined together for lifting and rapid assembly, but broken apart for handling in confined areas represents true versatility.
• Connector System (patent pending) performs three critical functions, most important is to contain the bars or bolts, providing technician with the highest degree of safety possible. Fitted with lifting eyes the connectors become a method for lifting the entire vulcanizer.
